Exploring the Grand Canyon takes time, schedule a couple of days to a week if you can. With all of the activities, programs and captivating sights, you will find youself not wanting to leave.

Exploring the Grand Canyon also takes energy, here are the options for resting your tired bones and recharge inside the park itself.

Camping is popular there is a 7 day limit for campsites. Reservations are recommended for Mather, March - December, and Trailer Village all year round. Otherwise its first come, first served for camping.

Permit required for Backcountry camping ($10 for permit plus $5 per person per day, available from Backcountry Information Center (928-638-7875).
